We are a UK based company that works closely with local Ardéche businesses. We are committed to Responsible Tourism and ensuring that the holidays and trips that we offer are sustainable and not only help the local economy but also help in the protection of the area in which they happen. This is particularly important as the hotel we use in the Ardèche sits on the border of the Nature Reserve in which many of our activities occur.

All river trips are run by our in house BCU Level 3 coach who is also the Founder and Managing Director of Experience Ardèche, Daniel Cummin. Since 1995, Daniel has worked in the Ardéche for a number of different companies and has built up great relations with a number of local residents and businesses alike. He is also a member of the Great Britain Rafting Team. As a qualified teacher and experienced outdoor educationalist, Daniel wanted to offer people a much more personal experience, tailored to their individual needs. Also, many UK children come to the region on school trips but for UK adults the area seems to be missed as people head past on their way down to the coast.

Although everyone, of course, is made to feel welcome in the region and there are holiday makers from a number of different countries that go there, it is still relatively undiscovered by the UK market. Financial Security

We are also aware that since the collapse of the XL Leisure Group, many consumers are more wary about booking their holidays. Experience Ardèche are ,however, members of the Travel Trust Association (T.T.A) and as such provide 100% financial security to all of our customers.

This is achieved through the operation of a Trust Account supervised by a TTA appointed Trustee and the issue of a Stand Alone Safe Seat Plan insurance policy which we pay for and issue on your behalf. It is the combination of the Trust Account and the Stand Alone Safe Seat Plan that ensures all of the money which you have paid to a Travel Trust Association member is safely protected and available to pay for those services which you have booked.
