Here at Experience Ardèche we believe that activity holidays are for everyone; whatever your age, previous experience, or interests, we will tailor the holiday around you. 

The Ardèche river and surrounding area, is the perfect location for an introduction to adventurous activities. Averaging 300 days of sunshine a year, the Mediterranean climate provides the perfect environment to experience a whole range of activities from Canoe/Kayaking to Canyoning to Caving to Via-Ferratta. With Experience Ardèche you will receive top quality instruction from fully qualified and experienced staff who, having lived and worked in the Ardèche for many years, have extensive knowledge of the area.

You decide the pace! At Experience Ardèche we keep the group sizes small. In doing this you are guaranteed to have the personal attention needed to feel confident in what you are doing. So, whether you are an adrenaline junkie, or simply looking to try out new things, we can design the perfect package for you. There are currently two week-long options available.

Canoe Package This includes your accommodation and two days on the river with our experienced guide. All equipment and river transfers are provided. The rest of the week is left for you to spend as you see fit (of course we can advise on possible places to visit and activities you may wish to try). Perfect for couples, families and groups who want a guided trip down the river, but would like the flexibility to decide what else to do when here.

Multi-Activity Package This option is more structured and includes your accommodation, the two day river trip, and an additional programme of personally selected activities.  The range of activities we offer have been carefully selected to give you the opportunity to experience the best the Ardèche has to offer. This option is perfect for couples, families and groups who want to create a bespoke week of activities.

Paddle the Gorge

Non-group option, the perfect way to book your trip down the Ardeche river. Hotel and Camping options available. 1-3 nights

Gorge Getaway

From £199.00  per person
A more social group weekend canoe river trip through the stunning Gorges de l'Ardeche. Suitable for all abilities. 3 nights
