HOLIDAY INFORMATION
This booking includes a one-day GUIDED river trip on the spectacular Ardeche river. You have also selected to include an additional 2 nights accommodation at our 4* CAMPSITE and an EXTRA ACTIVITY. Lunch on the river trip and a BBQ lunch on your final day is also included.
The river trip will be either 12km or 24km long (depending on water levels)

What’s not included?
*The river trip will either cover the full gorge section (24km) with 18 white-water rapids (grade 2) OR will cover the upper section from Sampson-Chames (14km) with about 6 white-water rapids (grade 2) and 4-5 canoe shoots/toboggans. The final option selected will depend on suitable water levels.

Your Itinerary
You will go directly to the reception of the campsite where they will have your booking ready and they will show you your pitches.
A senior member of staff (usually the same person will also be your river guide) will meet you at the campsite at a pre-arranged time to ensure you are happy with all the arrangements and are ready for your river trip.
You can check in at the campsite anytime between 1pm and 8pm on your arrival day and will need to check out by 1pm on the day of your departure.

Thursday 23 April - River Trip / Campsite

Friday 24 April - Activity / Departure
Half-day (3h) ‘Raid Aventure Pont d’Arc’ Activity (requesting morning but to be confirmed)
BBQ lunch provided at the campsite
You will need to check out of the campsite by approx 13:00 (1 pm)

The Campsite
The campsite we use is perfectly located on the bank of the Ardeche river. A brief stroll from the centre of the local town – Vallon Pont d’Arc, and 6km from the famous Pont d’Arc, the campsite is ideally situated for exploring the Gorges de l’Ardèche and the local area.
All pitches are shaded and separated by hedges. They also have access to water points and electricity (extension cord may be necessary).
The campsite has a restaurant/bar; heated swimming pool; small shop and a large games area. Whilst it’s not possible to have BBQ’s on the campsite pitches, there is a large BBQ area available for guests, together with tables and seating.
This is a relaxed, family friendly, locally owned and independently run campsite, providing excellent facilities and the perfect riverside location.
