The yurt accommodation is located within the Gorges de l’Ardeche nature reserve and is the only one you can keep your clothes on at (the other site is a nudist camp!). It is about 15 mins from Vallon-Pont-d’Arc, and this campsite is particularly popular with people who like a more ‘back to nature’ experience and want to disconnect from everyday life.

Located on the GR4 (a hiking trail that crosses the Ardeche Gorge) this is a great location from which to start walks or bike rides.  The river is accessible directly from the site via a track that winds all the way down (this takes approximately 20 mins to go down and descends 1000ft). This is perfect for having a day down by the river at a lovely quiet section deep in the heart of the Gorge. Take some lunch and sit back and watch the boats paddling past.

This is a relaxed, family friendly, locally owned and independently run campsite, providing unusual yurt accommodation in a great location. We recommend you have transport with this option.

The yurt site has a selection of great accommodation available. There are a few romantic 2 person yurts, a few family yurts (2-4 people), a couple of tents on stilts (2-4 people), and some safari lodges (2-6 people).

There is a large shaded terrace attached to the snack bar/restaurant which is perfect for sitting with a drink whilst the kids play on the swing, climb trees or stroke the goats!

Here, there’s no overcrowded swimming pool, but access to small sandy beaches in the heart of the Ardèche Gorges nature reserve. No large concrete driveways, but hundreds of miles of hiking trails to explore. No kids clubs, but lots of adventures to invent in nature. No noisy alarm, only the birds singing. No karaoke, but evenings to laugh with those we love around a good meal.

The site has a snack bar where you can stop by and have a bite. Draw up a chair on the terrace, or under an oak tree, and sample some Ardeche specialities. Or you could enjoy a pizza, some ‘moule frites’, salad, or just a refreshing drink.

The site has a large car park which is free for guests (we recommend you bring a car as public transport in the area is very limited and this site is more remote).
