HOLIDAY INFORMATION
This option includes the 2 day GUIDED river trip with overnight bivouac camp. It is perfect for people who have arranged their own accommodation in the area.
Our 2 day guided river trip covers the full 32km of the Gorges de l’Ardeche from Vallon Pont d’Arc – Saint Martin d’Ardeche. It consists of two days of paddling (approx. 16km each day) with an overnight camp in the heart of the Gorge itself. We always recommend doing the trip over two days as this allows you enough time to fully appreciate the beautiful surroundings; it also gives us time to go for a swim, jump from rocks, explore hidden caves or just relax with a picnic, soaking in the breathtaking scenery.
Most guided river trips run on Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday to provide you with the best experience possible (i.e. we try to avoid weekend trips as this is when the river tends to be at its busiest. However, we do have a couple of weekend trips that run in April and September when the river is much quieter.

Your Itinerary
With guided river trips you will go directly to the reception of the canoe hire company where you will meet your guide. They will give you all your equipment, a short briefing and you will then start your trip.
We meet at 10:30 am to start your trip on the first day and we will be returned back to this location by approx 6:30pm the following day.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED
*The river trip covers the full 32km of the Gorges de l’Ardeche from Vallon Pont d’Arc to Saint Martin d’Ardeche. It consists of two days of paddling with an overnight camp in the gorge (bivouac) and includes 30 white-water rapids.
